The Goldsworthy Garden
The area in front of the school building has slowly but surely been transformed into a beautiful sensory garden of remembrance for Mrs Lisa Goldsworthy. We cannot thank the parents who made this happen enough, we really appreciate all of your efforts!
The garden has a reading area, bug hotel, blackboard for children and staff to use, tyre seats and table, bird feeders for the children to look after, vegetable planters with Cabbage, Lettuce, Runner Beans and Peas growing, a pumpkin patch which will develop over the next few months, sensory mobiles hanging from the trees and stones decorated by the children, the memorial bench and a hand-painted entrance sign.
The memorial bench has arrived and class 6 unpacked and placed it. We think it looks lovely. They were having a lovely time with Mrs Fidge filling bird feeders and examining their plants and even found a little mouse!
